Super Easy Cuban Pulled Pork Slider Recipe with Dill Pickles

Who can resist the temptation of a platter of delicious sliders, whether for a family meal, at a summer party, or just for fun. There are many variations of sliders, the most well-known being the small hamburger versions with grilled onions, yellow mustard, and a slice of dill pickle.

Another popular version of sliders uses pork, specifically smoked, slow-cooked pulled pork. And with the addition of sliced Swiss cheese, ham, some mustard and of course, PICKLES, you get the amazingly delicious, Cuban Slider.

NOTES:

  • Regarding the pulled pork, you can often find it in many grocery stores nowadays, sometimes in the refrigerated foods section and occasionally packaged in the frozen foods section.
  • For this recipe, we picked up a 2-pound pack in the refrigerated section. We used half of this pack, which makes 12 sliders.
  • On the pickles, you can pickle them in your pouches in whatever shape you wish, afterwards however, you’ll need to slice, cut them, or chop them, to create a layer that is no more than ¼” thick.
  • Lastly, while we used the traditional Swiss cheese in our recipe, Provolone is another good option. And you can use either sliced, or shredded if you prefer.
