Two New Recipes for Your Pickles and Pickle Brines

Pickles are great, just on their own, but there are times when we could certainly enjoy them in other recipes.

There are some “natural” ingredients and prepared foods that just go with the taste of pickles. Among them are:

  • Ham (especially sweet or smoked ham)
  • Cheese (cheddar or smoked Gouda are wonderful and cream cheese is a base ingredient for many dips and spread recipes that also use pickles)
  • Fried Chicken (shout out to Nashville Hot and Chick-fil-A)
  • Smoked Fish and Fried Fish (think tartar sauce)
  • Pulled Pork (yep…Cuban style)
  • Hot Dogs (hats off Chicago!)
  • Beef (of course)
  • And countless vegetables

It’s our mission at Great Lakes Pickling Company to not only offer you a simple way to make delicious pickles with our pickling pouches, but to also introduce you to terrific recipes for you to enjoy your pickles with your family and friends.

From dips and spreads to appetizers, snacks, and entrees, you can look forward to receiving monthly recipes and serving suggestions. Afterward, they’ll always be available to you on our website.

Some will even have helpful videos!

We’ll start you out with a couple of our favorites.

These two recipes are probably the simplest and most straightforward way for you to showcase your delicious pickles.

While you can use any flavor of pickle in these recipes, we specifically recommend pickles made with our Polish Dill or Spicy Garlic Dill Pickling Pouches.
